Aurora Masters sends 12 swimmers to COMSA meet
The Aurora Masters swam 81 events at the Colorado state masters meet, April 5-7, in Thornton. Everyone swam well, and full results are available here.
Among the highlights: Lisette Fernandez won the 50-yard breaststroke; Jeff Gullett won high point in the 25-29 mens age group; Eric Hatch won high point for 35-to-39-year old men; Todd Holmes won the 1000-yard freestyle; the MacClain sisters (Cheyanne and Dakota) completed the sprint squad events; and Lynette Washburn won the 50-yard breaststroke and 100-yard individual medley.
Aurora's swimmers ranged in age from 18 to 73, with each contributing to the team's points.
